Born and raised in London, she has over 20 years’ experience in healthcare. She began her career working across the National Health Service, the Ministry of Defence, and in private practice. During this time, she discovered a strong aptitude for podiatry and a genuine passion for helping people improve their mobility, achieve their personal goals, and maintain their wellbeing. From early on, she was also driven by a desire to serve local communities and to create meaningful opportunities for the people she employs.
Driven by this ambition, she founded Callen Olive (formerly Walk This Way Podiatry) in Amersham in June 2012. Her vision was to create a regional centre of excellence for podiatry and orthotics, recognised for professionalism, a high level of clinical expertise, the use of modern technology, and a clear focus on improving patients’ overall wellbeing.
Known by many as determined and forward-thinking, she is often described as someone who pushes boundaries to create a positive, supportive, and vibrant environment for both patients and her team. What drives her most is serving local communities with high-quality foot and ankle healthcare, while also creating meaningful opportunities for the people she employs. This approach has shaped a clinic culture built on high standards of care, continuous learning, and genuine compassion for the people they support.
Her leadership and entrepreneurial drive were recognised nationally in 2023, when she was named among the Top 100 Female Leaders in the UK by f:Entrepreneur, in recognition of her achievements in business and contribution to her industry.
Alongside her clinical work, she is also the founder of a multi-award-winning skincare brand dedicated to leg and foot health. The brand blends ancient beauty rituals with modern aesthetics and healthcare principles, helping to bring high-quality, luxury leg and foot skincare into people’s homes. Through this work, she has helped to elevate the profile of foot and lower limb care, making it more accessible, desirable, and part of everyday self-care — both in the UK and internationally.
She now lives in Chesham with her husband and children. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active, long walks in the Chilterns with her whippets, and unwinding with yoga. She also appreciates great food and the occasional G&T. At home, she finds enjoyment in the simple things — cooking, gardening, and spending quality time with friends and family. Life is busy and full, but she feels grateful for the balance she has built and the community she serves.
