Nova Watt

Nova is an experienced Foot Health Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience and a genuine passion for helping people move through life with comfort, confidence, and ease. She believes that healthy feet play an important role in maintaining mobility, independence, and overall wellbeing and takes great satisfaction in helping people feel more comfortable and confident in their everyday lives.

Her journey into foot health began over a decade ago when her aunt, a podiatrist, invited her to assist in a year-long trial clinic focused on treating plantar fasciitis. It was during this time that she discovered not only a fascination with foot health but also the profound difference compassionate care can make to a person's comfort, mobility, and quality of life.

Originally from North London, Nova moved with her family to Kinross, just outside Edinburgh, at a young age. Growing up surrounded by nature and helping with everyday farm life instilled in her a strong work ethic, a caring nature, and a deep appreciation for community and supporting others. These values continue to shape her approach to patient care today.

Before beginning her career in foot health, Nova gained experience in hospitality, the music industry, and sales. While each role helped her develop excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people, she always felt drawn towards a more caring and hands-on profession. Ultimately, healthcare felt like the place where she could make the greatest difference.

Today, Nova supports patients with a wide range of foot health concerns, including verrucas, fungal nail infections, corns, and callus. She also works closely alongside the podiatrists, assisting with more specialist care and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. Known for her kind, approachable, and reassuring nature, she takes pride in helping people feel at ease and genuinely cared for during their visits.

Passionate about continuous learning, Nova recently began an apprenticeship in podiatry to further develop her knowledge and clinical skills. She enjoys expanding her expertise and is committed to continually growing so she can provide even greater support and more advanced care for her patients in the future.

Working at Callen Olive is particularly rewarding for Nova because the practice's values closely align with her own. She is proud to be part of a team that combines clinical excellence with kindness, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping people improve their wellbeing. She believes that even the smallest acts of care can have a meaningful impact and values being able to support patients through every stage of their journey.

Outside of the clinic, Nova enjoys spending quality time with her family and especially treasures time with her grandson. She loves bringing people together over hearty home-cooked meals and appreciates the simple joy that comes from sharing food and creating memories with loved ones. She also has an adventurous side and enjoys mountain biking across different terrains, balanced with quieter moments spent walking her much-loved dog, Suki. For Nova, wellbeing is about finding joy in both adventure and life's simple pleasures.

What Our Patients Say About Us

  • I have had a brilliant experience with the team. Excellent service. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a fungal infection in all my toenails which was uncomfortable and unsightly. The laser treatment in 6 sessions has totally eliminated the infection. It’s expensive but pain free and I should have done it years ago. I could not recommend this foot clinic highly enough.

  • Unbelievable results treating my feet which had damaged nails from physical trauma as well as a fungal infection. Regular appointments to check on progress with laser treatments means the damaged nails are growing back well and the infection is all but gone. Worth the money.

  • I have had a nail issue for years and I finally plucked up the courage to get it looked at. They are amazing! They have been so friendly and professional and not pushy at all with treatments. I am only 3 appointments in but my feet are looking so much better and I'm slowly being more confident with it. Would 100% recommend to anyone even thinking about it, they've seen it all and they are medical professionals.
