Nova has over 10 years’ experience as a qualified Foot Health Practitioner and brings a warm, caring approach to every patient she supports. Her journey into foot health began over a decade ago when her aunt, a podiatrist, invited her to assist in a year-long trial clinic focused on treating plantar fasciitis. It was during this time that she discovered a genuine passion for foot health and the difference good care can make to people’s comfort and mobility.

Originally from North London, she moved with her family to Kinross, just outside Edinburgh, at a young age. Growing up surrounded by nature, she spent much of her childhood outdoors and helping with farm life, including everyday tasks such as bringing in the cows for milking. These early experiences helped shape her caring nature and her desire to support others.

Before settling into podiatry, she explored roles in hospitality, the music industry, and sales. While each experience helped build valuable people and communication skills, she always felt drawn towards a more caring, hands-on role, which ultimately led her back to healthcare.

Today, Nova supports patients with a wide range of general foot health concerns, including verrucas, fungal nail infections, corns, and callus. She also works closely with the podiatrists, assisting with more specialist care and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. Recently, she began an apprenticeship in podiatry to further develop her skills and enable her to provide more advanced assessments and treatments. She is passionate about continuous learning and enjoys developing her knowledge to offer the best possible care.

Known for her kind and supportive approach, she takes pride in helping patients feel at ease and well cared for during their visits. Working at Callen Olive aligns closely with her values, and she feels the clinic’s positive, supportive ethos creates the ideal environment for both personal growth and high-quality patient care.

Outside of work, Nova enjoys spending time with her family and her grandson, and loves cooking hearty meals for everyone to enjoy together. She also has an adventurous side and enjoys mountain biking across different terrains, alongside quieter moments walking her dog, Suki.

What Our Patients Say About Us

  • I have had a brilliant experience with the team. Excellent service. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a fungal infection in all my toenails which was uncomfortable and unsightly. The laser treatment in 6 sessions has totally eliminated the infection. It’s expensive but pain free and I should have done it years ago. I could not recommend this foot clinic highly enough.

  • Unbelievable results treating my feet which had damaged nails from physical trauma as well as a fungal infection. Regular appointments to check on progress with laser treatments means the damaged nails are growing back well and the infection is all but gone. Worth the money.

  • I have had a nail issue for years and I finally plucked up the courage to get it looked at. They are amazing! They have been so friendly and professional and not pushy at all with treatments. I am only 3 appointments in but my feet are looking so much better and I'm slowly being more confident with it. Would 100% recommend to anyone even thinking about it, they've seen it all and they are medical professionals.
