We are the new go-to destination for leg and foot luxury products, combining years of podiatry medical expertise with the latest advancements of naturally-derived, clinically-proven skincare formulations.
As an independent family business, we put uncompromising care into everything we do. This commitment drives us to continually source the highest grade of naturally-derived ingredients for our products to develop unique blends that not only help treat and prevent leg and foot skin-related conditions but feel like a luxury treat for the skin.
And because we deeply care about our planet too, we choose to manufacture in England and package our products in glass bottles and jars which are 100% recyclable. In addition, we’re committed to creating only vegan formulations and never testing on animals.
Meet Maggie Trevillion — Callen Olive Founder
A self-confessed foot geek!
Having been at the forefront of my successful, multi-award-winning podiatry clinic, Walk This Way Podiatry, since 2012, I have launched Callen Olive with the intention of bringing to the market a new concept of highly effective yet luxurious skincare products for legs and feet.
Combining medical podiatry expertise, extensive scientific research and the finest naturally-derived ingredients to target specific leg and foot issues and create formulations that heal, prevent and simply blow your mind away. I believe this is the future of foot care and what Callen Olive foot care range works towards achieving. In addition the first Callen Olive Podiatry Clinic opened in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire December 23.
How it started
Strangely enough, my interest in feet started when I used to sell second-hand shoes on my grandmother’s stall in Portobello Road, London, W11.
Little I knew at the time that I would follow this passion. So instead, I studied beauty therapy at London College of Fashion, where I had the opportunity to make my own cosmetics during the course. This process ignited the dream to one day have my own cosmetic brand.
It was during my years of giving pedicures as a beauty therapist in top London salons that I found my love for feet and went on to study podiatry, a winning decision that has led to a rewarding and successful career.
With my obsession with foot health, I was always disappointed to find that most foot care products available in podiatry were sticky, poorly-absorbed, did not smell pleasant, contain animal ingredients, and, or had unattractive or non-recyclable packaging. Moreover, the products did not live up to their claims. In my opinion, in today’s world, there is no need for animal ingredients to be included in health or beauty products. This is a big no from me when it comes to animal welfare and sustainability. I find it unnecessary with all the latest techniques and developments in product formulation nowadays.
On the other hand, the beauty market didn’t offer quality products to target medical leg and foot problems with proven results or to help prevent them from occurring.
It was clear to me that there was a need for a brand that was high-quality, sustainable and effective, and I felt inspired and committed to making this a reality. Therefore, I decided to formulate and launch my own foot care range.
Determined to be one of the best, I immersed myself in everything dermatology and product formulation. After years of researching, developing my knowledge, experience, and product range and testing its performance on friends, family, colleagues, clients and other podiatry professionals, Callen Olive was born.
Because quality is a top priority for me, I have chosen to work with one of the best chemists in the UK to source and formulate a luxury range that does exactly what says on the box.
It is also my intention to bring a new awareness to legs and feet and the important role they play in our lives. From my experience, they are sadly one of the most neglected parts of the body. For the majority of us unless it’s sandal season, or there is a cosmetic issue or pain problem, let’s face it, feet get ignored.
Hence, I have created Callen Olive products not only to help individuals fix and prevent any leg or foot skin problems but to encourage them to take as much care for these parts of their body as for the face or hair. I want to empower people to feel confident and happy to bare healthy-looking legs and feet, without feeling embarrassed because of their appearance.
I am proud that I have produced a clinical-proven range that’s high quality and effective, yet extremely luxurious in scent and texture. On top, Callen Olive products are vegan, cruelty-free, naturally derived and manufactured in the UK, meaning they don’t harm our beautiful planet.
I am honoured that with these products I can now help transform even more feet and share my professional expertise to promote better foot health.
As well as being a weird foot lady, I’m a mum of two, my son Callen and my daughter Olive, hence the name of the brand. As a result, I’m always extremely busy! I can be found walking my whippets in the Chilterns while feeding my soul with the peaceful and stunning nature around me, or in my clinic being a businesswoman and hands-on podiatrist.
