Jenny is a Principal Podiatrist with +25 years’ experience, with a particular passion for biomechanics and gait analysis, sports injuries, and children’s foot health. She works closely with patients of all ages, from growing children to active adults, taking time to understand how they move and what may be contributing to pain or injury. The difference she makes on a daily basis — helping people walk, grow, and run more comfortably — is what truly motivates her. Supporting patients to return to everyday activities with less pain and more confidence is at the heart of her work.
Her interest in podiatry began at a young age. From childhood, she was fascinated by how people move and walk, and with medicine running in her family, she always felt drawn to a career in healthcare and helping others feel better.
After graduating, she began her career in the NHS, where she worked for 20 years alongside part-time roles in private practice. These combined experiences allowed her to build a broad clinical skillset across several podiatry specialisms, including rheumatology, orthopaedics, and sports injury management. Following postgraduate training in sports injuries, she has focused her work on musculoskeletal (MSK) podiatry for the past 16 years, with a strong emphasis on detailed assessment, careful investigation, and understanding the root cause of pain or pathology.
Proactive and highly motivated, she is committed to continually developing her clinical skills and staying up to date with best practice. Working at Callen Olive is particularly rewarding for her, as the clinic’s philosophy and values align closely with her own. She is passionate about helping patients improve their foot health and, in doing so, their overall quality of life. She also speaks highly of the team environment, describing it as supportive, inspiring, and collaborative.
Outside of work, Jenny is a busy mum to three daughters. When she finds time to herself, she enjoys reading forensic pathology books and keeping active. Although a knee injury brought her running to a pause after completing several half marathons, she now enjoys energetic walks in the countryside, which still allow her to stay active and unwind.
