Helping others has always been important to me, and it is this passion that drives my work in Podiatry.
I was born in Ireland, where I spent my childhood and teen years. In 2013, I moved to Edinburgh to study Podiatry at Queen Margaret University. I was quite an active student, becoming a Sports and Societies Officer, a role that built a solid foundation for my business development skills and has come pretty handily for my work at the practice today.
After graduating, I continued to develop my podiatry skills in various clinics until becoming part of Walk This Way’s team.
Caring for my patients gives me a great sense of accomplishment, especially when they leave the clinic with a bounce on their feet. Podiatry enables me to help customers overcome problems with their feet and mobility and improve their standard of living.
In my free time, I love sport. I am often found playing hockey either as a goalkeeper or as a forward. I have also been horse-riding for nearly 20 years. I have my own lovely horse and show jump regularly.
Outside of sport, I am typically Irish and love a sneaky break with a good cup of Barry’s tea and a biscuit. When I get to relax, I enjoy watching sport, particularly rugby, hockey or GAA (a very Irish sport) or immersing myself in a good superhero movie. My favourite superhero is Wonder Woman; she is empowering and always believes in people — two traits I find extremely important and relate to. Besides, who doesn’t love a female superhero?
What Our Patients Say About Us

I have had a brilliant experience with the team. Excellent service. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a fungal infection in all my toenails which was uncomfortable and unsightly. The laser treatment in 6 sessions has totally eliminated the infection. It’s expensive but pain free and I should have done it years ago. I could not recommend this foot clinic highly enough.

Unbelievable results treating my feet which had damaged nails from physical trauma as well as a fungal infection. Regular appointments to check on progress with laser treatments means the damaged nails are growing back well and the infection is all but gone. Worth the money.

I have had a nail issue for years and I finally plucked up the courage to get it looked at. They are amazing! They have been so friendly and professional and not pushy at all with treatments. I am only 3 appointments in but my feet are looking so much better and I'm slowly being more confident with it. Would 100% recommend to anyone even thinking about it, they've seen it all and they are medical professionals.
